Darcy James Cheatle and his band have been turning heads since 2021. Two albums later (with a third on the way), DJC and co. have built a tight, engaging live show that’s already seen them take stages like WOMADelaide, with momentum building toward their upcoming releases.

Darcy James Cheatle is an Adelaide-based songwriter and frontman blending classic rock with soul and R&B influence. After years performing in bands and as part of the acoustic duo Easy Friday, he launched his solo project in 2019 with a series of self-recorded releases, later evolving into a full live band.

Since then, DJC and co. have built a reputation for tight, engaging performances, including a recent appearance at WOMADelaide. With two albums released and a third currently in development, the project continues to grow in both sound and scope, driven by strong songwriting and a charismatic live presence.
